“Had an opportunity to study at QUT is an unforgettable experience. This opportunity also made me a person who could be more open minded, and respectful towards time, money and human. This is my first experience doing a study aboard, but it’s not difficult to adapt there. You guys don’t need to be worry because the people and environment are so friendly and supportive. Besides experiencing an international learning experience, I also joined a number of events held on campus in Brisbane and I can guarantee you this program offers you million benefits.”

“I am really glad I had the chance to come across cultural diversity. I gained a lot of new friends from different countries that improve my social and professional development. I attended my very first class as an international student and instantly enjoyed the student-centered learning. In a non-academic setting, what I liked most was being a volunteer for MS Queensland where I shared joy with others. This dramatically improves my English skills because you don’t have to be afraid as everyone is so kind that they make it possible to know what you want to say. I am grateful for being a student at QUT and all of the opportunities that come with it.”

EXCHANGE PROGRAM

University Utara Malaysia Exchange Program 2019/2020

“Studying and living there felt like UUM has its own world. We’re a bit far from the nearest city so we spent most of our time inside campus. But here we could do so many things that i never thought i could do inside the campus area. There’s a mini mall, a large sport centre (that has fields, running track, swimming pool, gym, and even sauna room!), lakes (there’s one where you could go kayaking), go kart track, etc. I also really enjoy taking a walk around campus, it’s very green and there are many animals like deers, ostriches, horses, etc to complete the view. Being an exchange student in the middle of a pandemic is definitely a new and an interesting adventure for me. It has its ups and downs of course but i wouldn’t trade them for anything.”

“UNAIR and UUM Exchange Program did not only offer us a great education system, but also an amazing social life experience. I got to make friends with people from Malaysia, China, Somalia, India, Japan, and other countries. Joining this program is the most impressive and unforgettable experience in 2020, where we exchanged our cultures, and our languages. I gained a lot of amazing lifetime experiences here.”

Kumamoto University Spring Program 2020

“Kumamoto University Spring Program 2020 was an opportunity for me to experience Japan for the first time. It gave me the opportunity to exchange ideas, gain insights, and exchange cultures from various countries and the lecturers were also nice. We went to a couple of trips with a bus together and everything was really fun. Every person I met was very nice and kind. I will never get the experience I acquire in this program anywhere else. Kumamoto University Spring Program 2020

“My 10-day experience as an international student at Kumamoto University was a very pleasant and important experience. One thing I like the most is how Japanese people welcome their guests graciously, a warm hospitality and traditional Japanese dishes is an example. By having outbound experience, I have the opportunity to add insight and knowledge directly about Japanese culture. Another important opportunity was building a relation and getting to know the teachers.”

Kumamoto University Spring Program 2020

“The Kumamoto University 2020 Spring Program is super fun and personally has many benefits for me. Through this program I have the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with friends from other countries. I also learned a lot about Japanese culture, and my favorite is how the local people uphold the values of courtesy, neatness, cleanliness, and responsibility. The teachers and the locals I met were all friendly and kind. Friends from other countries are also very friendly and fun to chat with. There are many parks and other interesting places that will not make you bored. I really enjoyed my time joining this program, I felt really sad when I had to go home. Joining the Kumamoto University 2020 Spring Program is truly a precious memory for me.”
